The Garden Secrecies of the Buddhas

Big Buddha Beach

In the east of Bophut, on a small island connected by an overland route and finished by a large carpark, is Big Bouddha, a gilded statue of 12 meters Buddha high sitting at the top of a staircase richly decorated with dragons. With the foot of the principal building, there are some other smaller Buddhas gilded, of which one is lying, and of many religious gravers which offer the occasion to make an offering.
